This bag discharger makes the handling of the compressed 300/320 litres bales very easy.
3 bags - ca. 1 m3 substrate are loosened and emptied without carrying the bags.
The contents of the bales are at the same time loosened carefully without destroying the structure of the substrate.

Working Procedure:
300 litre bales are delivered on pallets and placed next to the bag discharger.
The bags are taken down from the pallet and transported to the bag discharger on a sack carrier and placed in the "hopper" of the bag discharger.
The top of the bags is cut off and the bag discharger is closed and started up.
"The hopper" with the 3 bales is lifted up and the vibrators under the hopper are started up.
The vibrations loosen the content of the bales and empty the bale. The content are further loosened by a action of rotating spikes.
The bag discharger is PLC-controlled. The speed at which the bales are emptied is regulated by a sensor placed in the substrate hopper of the potting machine.

Big bales are a economical solution for the delivery and the handling of substrates.
This Big Bale discharger loosens the substrate in the compressed big bales in order to get the maximum useable volume out of the bales - quickly and effectively. The subtrates can be discharged directly into the potting machine hopper.
Big bales are made of plastic (Big Bales) or woven polyprophylene (Big Bags), with a content of 5.5 - 7 m3 peat or substrate are delivered on pallets.

Working procedure:
The big bale is carried behind the bale discharger with a fork lift truck or with a hand fork lift.
The plastic outer wrapper is cut and removed and the big bale is carried into "the hopper" of the bale discharger. "The hopper" is lifted up to the correct height and the chain is started. The chain scraper loosen the content of the bale and empties it out via a loosener.
The bale discharger is PLC-controlled and the speed, at which the bags are emptied, is regulated by a sensor placed in the substrate hopper of the potting machine.

Big bags are an economic solution for the delivery and the handling of substrates.
This type of bag discharger loosens the substrate in the compressed big bags in order to get the maximum useable volume out of the bags - quickly, effectively and carefully. The substrates may be emptied directly into the substrate hopper of the potting machine.
Big bags with 5.5 - 7 m3 of peat or substrates are delivered as Big Bales (polythylene) or Big Bags (woven polyprophylene) on pallets.

Working procedure:
The big bags are placed in the "hopper" of the bag discharger with a fork lift truck. The big bag is fastened to "the hopper" at the bottom and the bag discharger is started .
When "the hopper" reaches a suitable height the vibrators start automatically and the contents of the bags are loosened and emptied.
The bag discharger is PLC-controlled and the speed, at which the bags are emptied, is regulated by a sensor placed in the soil magazine of the potting machine.
