Liming of kitchen garden, flower beds and lawn.
The content of limestone in the soil is washed out with time and this loss must be replaced to keep the right soil pH.

Soil structure also depends on the limestone content. When the limestone is washed out the soil particles fall apart and the soil looses its structure.
